Kassow Robots has expanded and moved to new premises, where scaling of the business is driven forward. “Kajakvej 2” is the address of the state-of-the-art building located within walking distance from Copenhagen airport.
There, production and further development of the 7-axis cobots have been ramped up since mid-September.
The young company previously operated at smaller premises in a nearby industrial area but had reached its capacity limits.
“The move to the new location represents a strategic milestone for us, for two reasons. First, we can now step up scaling the business. Second, we can offer our team and talented future colleagues, also those in production, a very attractive work location,” says Kristian Kassow, the company’s founder and CEO.
Kassow Robots now has more than 1,300 square meters at its disposal.
The distinguishing features of the modern building are its open interior architecture and very bright, daylit rooms. Production, development of hardware and embedded software, sales and administration are located here. The company has another location in Prague, which focuses primarily on software development.
Important step in the company’s growth story
Bosch Rexroth, as the majority shareholder of Kassow Robots, views the move as an important step in the company’s growth story. “Our first priority was to offer to Kassow Robots employees an inspiring location close to the previous one, so that it stays within a convenient reach for the team. I am very happy we quickly found such a place, even in a green building”, says Yulia Bakir, member of the Kassow Robots board of directors.
Bosch Rexroth, one of the world's leading suppliers of automation solutions, acquired the majority stake in Kassow Robots at the end of April 2022. The company sees collaborative industrial robots as an important building block for the versatile Factory of the Future.
