As a full-service provider for the plant engineering and automation technology industries, the esmo Asia team is the best choice to make our 7-axis cobots help companies in Singapore further advance in automation. Established in 2001, esmo group, a subsidiary of Accuron Industrial Technologies, provides innovative and advanced engineering services to different sectors across a variety of industries, including automation, semiconductor, and drywall and interior construction. The Copenhagen-based company Kassow Robots, which first showed up at Automatica Fair in Germany in 2018, today offers a family of five 7-axis highly flexible cobots with a payload of up to 18 kilograms and a reach of up to 1,800 millimeters.

Great potential in Singapore for customized solutions with cobots

As a distributor, esmo Asia will recommend Kassow Robots’ cobots  to customers either as standalone solutions or within an integrated system, depending on their automation needs. “According to market analysts, the cobots market is expected to to experience robust growth over the next several years. Experts predict exponential growth and the Asia Pacific region looks to be leading the way in terms of technology adoption rates. Here at esmo Asia, we see great potential in this area and are ready to tap on this growing market”, says Mr John Lee, Sales and Application Engineer, esmo Asia.

Cobots assist and work alongside technicians and engineers

A common application would be when companies wish to increase productivity by ‘delegating’ repetitive, laborious duties to a robot. These typically include picking-and-placing, packaging, boxing, palletizing, and even screwing or welding tasks. In these scenarios, the robot assists and works alongside technicians and engineers, freeing the employees up to complete more advanced, complex tasks.
