FlexiBowl® 1200
The ARS Automation FlexiBowl® 1200 is designed to orientate and separate components ranging from 50 to 300 mm in size and weighing up to 300 g. The separation and orientation mechanisms are possible through the combined movements of an impulse generator and servomotor. The working principle is straightforward: the bulk feeder releases the parts that fall onto the FlexiBowl® surface. On this surface, they are effectively separated by a combined mechanism of an impulse generator with bidirectional rotation. Once the parts are separated, the camera recognizes their location and sends those coordinates to the robot. These parts are then picked up to begin the next process.
High Standard of Performance (>90 parts/min)
The FlexiBowl® 1200's feeding mechanism is designed to reduce idle time and to make each step of the process simultaneous. The goal of this process is to provide the highest possible feed rate.
