In this role, you will:
- Developing new features.
- Maintaining existing code base.
- Improving motor control.
- Testing the robot system.
- Calibration of robot system.
- Maintaining and developing build system.
You will closely collaborate with the electronics and application software engineers. You will be part of a small team of passionate and highly skilled R&D engineers, who all do a difference every day to reach company goals. Your profile:
- You have experience with embedded software development (embedded c programming).
- You understand hardware and physics fairly well.
- You have a basic understanding of working on bare metal microprocessors.
- You have a basic understanding of developing drivers for external hardware.
- You have a basic understanding of software architecture.
- You have a basic understanding of communication protocols.
- It is an advantage if you have experience in managing embedded projects, including linker files, compiler options and bootloader.
- It is an advantage if you have experience in working with git repositories, or version control in general.
- You find it interesting to work on safety critical embedded software that must comply with certain standards.
- You find it interesting to work with position and torque control of high-power density PMSM motors.
We accept applications ranging from entry level and up, as long as you have an education as an electronics engineer, software engineer or computer scientist, preferably with an interest in robotics and control theory.
We expect you to be flexible and a fast-learner, as our setup is continuously evolving. You are excited about development and results, and you have an analytical and thorough approach to your work. You are structured and know how to work independently as well aspart of a team. You thrive in a busy working environment and have a passion for solving complex tasks.
