At automatica2025, Kassow Robots set a new benchmark for collaborative robotics by unveiling two powerful 7-axis cobots with payloads of 24 kg and 40 kg. The debut of KR1824 and KR1240 cobots marked a major milestone for the company, drawing record numbers of visitors to the booth during the four-day industrial fair in Munich.

The strong turnout at the Kassow Robots booth reflected growing market demand for cobots that combine industrial strength with ease of use. Visitors were also curious about the ultra-compact robotic controller—now 75% smaller—and the introduction of the Sensitive Arm option, which integrates high-precision force-torque sensors in all seven joints. This innovation enables the cobots to perform complex, delicate tasks while still offering the durability and performance Kassow Robots is known for.

Our new high-payload cobots are a game-changer,” said Dieter Pletscher, Global Sales Manager at Kassow Robots. “What makes them unique is not just the strength, but the flexibility of the extra axis. We're showing the world of automation that cobots can have the industrial performance and be highly flexible at the same time. The reaction from visitors at automatica was really positive—it’s clear we’re answering a real need in the market.

With its expanded portfolio, Kassow Robots is demonstrating its commitment to empowering manufacturers with flexible, user-friendly automation—now capable of handling significantly heavier and more complex applications without compromising on precision or safety. The newly introduced cobots boast payload capacities that have increased from the current generation by 4.8 times and 4 times, respectively—marking a major leap in collaborative robot performance and expanding the possibilities for demanding industrial tasks.

In addition to the company’s new product innovations, more than 10 industrial applications were showcased during automatica 2025 by Kassow Robots’ partners. These included solutions in mobile robotics, welding, quality control, CNC machine tending, screwdriving, dispensing, and palletizing—demonstrating the versatility and robustness of company's 7-axis cobots across a wide range of industries.
