Role overview
The Ecosystem Partner Manager is responsible for the commercial and technical success of the Kassow Robots Ecosystem. This role combines partner-facing communication, onboarding coordination, and ongoing technical support. The person will act as the bridge between Kassow Robots and our ecosystem partners, ensuring they are well-supported in integrating, developing, and maintaining high-quality solutions around our robotics platform.
Key Responsibilities
Partner Management & Communication
- Serve as the primary contact for all ecosystem partners (software, hardware, integrators).
- Drive onboarding of new partners: introduction to the ecosystem, processes, tools, and documentation.
- Maintain clear, proactive communication with partners regarding product roadmaps, upcoming releases, changes, and ecosystem opportunities.
- Ensure partners comply with Kassow ecosystem standards and guidelines.
- Identify, recruit, and qualify potential new partners that fill strategic gaps in the ecosystem?
- Define and track KPIs for solution quality and adaption.
- Collect partner feedback and communicate insights internally to Product Management and Engineering.
Technical Support & Enablement
- Support ecosystem partners in integrating with our platform, including APIs, SDKs, and development tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues escalated by partners or internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to technical documentation, developer guides, and example code.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering teams to ensure smooth rollout of new features and compatibility updates.
- Test partner solutions and validate integration quality.
Release Management & Partner Updates
- Prepare and distribute release notes, update summaries, and migration guidance to partners.
- Ensure ecosystem partners are updated on firmware, software, and API changes.
- Coordinate beta programs or early-access rollouts where relevant.
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages: C++, Java, or Kotlin.
- Understanding of API integrations, SDK usage, and software development workflows.
- Familiarity with robotics, automation, or embedded systems is a strong advantage.
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation and communicate technical concepts clearly.
Commercial/Interpersonal Skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience in partner management, technical account management, or developer relations (preferred).
- Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple partners, and prioritize issues effectively.
- Problem-solving mindset and customer-oriented approach.
Soft Skills
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proactive, structured, and able to take ownership of partner success.
- Comfortable presenting or training partners on technical topics.
- Collaborative mindset; able to work across Product, Engineering, and Sales teams.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of ROS, industrial communication protocols, or robotics frameworks.
- Experience in automation, machine vision, or cobot ecosystems.
- Exposure to app stores, developer platforms, or integration ecosystems.
