Newsletter 2 | 26 March 2019

The time has finally come: Hannover Messe is opening its doors next week – and 2019 will mark the first appearance of Kassow Robots at the world’s leading trade fair for the industry. In addition to this latest highlight, we are pleased to update you on our other developments — such as the expansion of our headquarters in Kastrup, Copenhagen and growth of our partner network — since our first newsletter in November.

Speaking of partners: Pi-Robotics just joined our Kassow Robots family in 2019. But the Wuerttemberg-based automation specialist was already on hand at “all about automation” to demonstrate how our 7th axis delivers true added value.

– on behalf of the entire Kassow Robots team –

PREMIERE: Kassow Robots at Hannover Messe 2019 (Hall H17, Booth E63)

The company’s appearance at the world’s leading trade fair for the industry from 1 to 5 April 2019 is also our first independent appearance since our market launch in June 2018 at Automatica in Munich. We are attending Hannover Fair together with Project A&E (Germany). The partner will present an automated banding application. We look forward to seeing you there. You are also welcome to arrange an appointment with us in advance.

EXPANSION: Extra space for Kassow Robots in Kastrup, Copenhagen

In early 2019, the time had come: The development phase was complete – and we had to lease extra space for production at our Kastrup, Copenhagen, headquarters. Our initial focus is production of the KR 810 (reach of 850 mm, payload of 10 kg) and KR 1205 (reach of 1200 mm, payload of 5 kg). Naturally, both models have our well-known 7th axis, which offers industrial customers true added value.

7th AXIS ADVANTAGE: Pi Robotics demonstrates Kassow Robots application at “all about automation“.

On board since 2019 – and they already have an application to showcase! Our partner Pi-Robotics attended “all about automation” in Friedrichshafen in mid-March 2019. While smaller and with fewer casual visitors, the fair attracted company representatives from the region with very specific interest in the technology. We at Kassow Robots were impressed by the fair! Pi-Robotics showed visitors the advantage of the 7-axis design using our Kassow Robots application for loading and unloading machine tools for measurements in quality control. “The 7th axis enables the Cobot from Kassow Robots to reach around a corner like an arm!” explain Waldemar Brumhardt and Marcel Dahle, managing directors of the automation specialist based in Baden- Württemberg. But see for yourself.

In addition to this main advantage, booth visitors were impressed with the Cobot’s mobility – it can easily be deployed in different production locations – and it features intelligent vacuum technology that ensures standards-based safety for people and the environment. “A perfect example of human-robot collaboration.“
